함께 하나님의 음성을 듣고,
삶의 예배로 하나님 나라를 살아냅니다.We are a community of worship and prayer.
Like a lighthouse on the sea, we offer rest and restoration to the weary and the lost.
Together, we listen for God’s voice and live out His Kingdom through a life of worship.---### Our Heart
우리는 사람과 사람, 교회와 교회, 단체와 단체 등
하나님 나라 안에서 한 형제 자매된 이들을 연결하고
다리를 놓는 이들이 되길 소망합니다.We long to be people who build bridges—

The Lighthouse Story
## 📖 Our Story | 우리의 이야기2013년, 캐나다에 처음 도착한 날은 Victoria Day였습니다.
누군가는 우연이라 말할지 모르지만, 우리는 그날을
“승리하신 하나님과 함께 시작한 날”로 마음에 새겼습니다.After arriving in Canada in 2013 on Victoria Day,
we chose to remember that day as the beginning of our journey with the victorious God.몇 주 후, 갑작스럽게 “노바스코샤!”라는 말을 외치며 잠에서 깨어났고,
곧바로 비행기를 예약해 아내와 함께 그곳으로 향하게 되었습니다.A few weeks later, I suddenly woke up shouting “Nova Scotia!”
Soon after, we booked a flight and traveled there together.짙은 안개 속을 지나 Lighthouse Route 333을 따라 도착한 곳은
Peggy’s Cove였습니다.Through thick fog along Lighthouse Route 333,
we arrived at Peggy’s Cove.도착하자마자 거짓말처럼 하늘이 열리고 햇빛이 비치며,
숨 막힐 듯 아름다운 바다와 등대가 우리를 맞이했습니다.As soon as we arrived, the sky cleared, sunlight broke through,
and the breathtaking lighthouse and ocean welcomed us.가는 길 내내 우리는 예레미야 33장 3절 말씀을 묵상했고,
그곳에서 하나님께서 우리에게 부르심을 주셨습니다.On the way, we meditated on Jeremiah 33:3,
and there, God spoke a calling to us.“보이지 않는 길을 걷는 이들에게 빛을 비추는 등대처럼,
길을 잃고 지친 이들이 잠시 머물다 다시 나아가도록 돕는 공동체가 되라.”“To be a lighthouse—
a light for those walking unseen paths,
a place where the lost and weary can rest,
and then be sent forward again.”그날 이후, ‘등대’는 우리의 부르심이자 사명이 되었습니다.From that day on, “the lighthouse” became our calling and mission.그 후 약 10년간 토론토에서 예배와 공동체 사역을 섬기며
준비의 시간을 보냈고,For about 10 years in Toronto,
we served in worship and community ministry as a season of preparation.2023년, 하나님의 인도하심을 따라
알버타 메디슨햇으로 이주하게 되었습니다.In 2023, we moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta,
following God’s leading.우리가 도착한 날은 발렌타인데이였고,
우리를 끝까지 사랑하시는 예수님의 사랑을 깊이 기억하는 시간이었습니다.We arrived on Valentine’s Day,
a reminder of Christ’s enduring love for us.이곳에서 우리는 다양한 교회들과 연결되어
한인 예배와 다민족 예배 가운데 함께 섬기게 되었고,Here, we connected with various churches,
serving in both Korean and multicultural worship gatherings.2024년부터는 몇 가정과 함께
아이들과 드리는 예배를 시작하게 되었습니다.In 2024, we began gathering with a few families
to worship together with our children.2025년, 하나님께서는 다시 한 번
Lighthouse Church를 향한 부르심을 일깨워 주셨습니다.In 2025, God renewed our calling toward Lighthouse Church.교회는 건물에 머무는 것이 아니라
삶 속에서 살아 움직여야 한다는 부르심 아래,We felt a call to become a church
not confined to a building, but alive in everyday life.주일 예배에 참여하기 어려운 사람들,
아이들 돌봄이나 언어의 장벽으로 교회를 멀리했던 사람들,For those unable to attend Sunday services,
or those distanced by childcare needs or language barriers,누구나 함께할 수 있는 공동체—
Ekklesia Everywhere, Everyday의 필요를 보게 되었습니다.we saw the need for a community open to all—
an Ekklesia Everywhere, Everyday.
Our Vision
우리는 각자의 삶의 자리 — 가정과 학교, 직장, 지역사회 — 에서
“내 집은 만민이 기도하는 집이라 일컬음을 받을 것이다” 하신
예수님의 말씀을 이루어가는 공동체입니다.We are a community committed to
fulfilling Jesus’ words,
“My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations,”
in every sphere of life — in our homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
